A Balanced Woman-Part 2
Dear Readers,
Welcome to the concluding part of this teaching. In the last edition, I unveiled what living a balanced life as a woman is and the way to it. I believe you have started making the necessary adjustments that will make you all that God has ordained you. This week, we shall focus on Ways to live a Balanced Life.
The ways to live a balanced life as a woman include:
- Proper Time Management. As a woman, you must limit distractions and time wasters to maximise your time, both at home and at work. Do not overstay your time at work at the expense of your home. The Word says: Redeeming the time, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:16).
- Learn the 3Ds. Do whatever you have to do at the right time, Delete whatever is not profitable, and Delegate assignments, especially when you are cumbered with a lot on your mind. The Word says: To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1). In a bid to meet up with people’s expectations about them, most women fix unrealistic goals and spend time on non-profitable ventures.
- Establish Rules and Routines in Your Home. This enables you to keep your home well organised. Even when you are away, you must stay connected by calling your home to ensure these rules are adhered to. The Word says: Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers… (Romans 13: 1).
- Rest and Look after your Spirit, Soul and Body. Ensure you give yourself adequate rest; you don’t need to be at every event and attend to everything. The Word says: And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made (Genesis 2:2). Also, body and spiritual exercise profits a lot. It is refreshing if it is well maximised (1 Timothy 4:8).
- Remember Special Days/Dates. Make sure you create time for special family activities like birthdays and anniversaries.
- Passionately and Constantly Seek God for Wisdom: The Word says: Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding (Proverbs 4:7). Depend on God’s guidance and instructions, and everything will fall in place (Proverbs 3:5).
Therefore, to create the balance needed to have a good home and engage with other pursuits you desire, you need the help of the Holy Spirit. If you are not born again, please say this prayer of faith: Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner, and I cannot help myself. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Precious Blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the Living God. From today, Lord Jesus, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now, I am Born Again.
Congratulations! You are now born again and a child of God. He loves you and will never leave or forsake you. With this, you are guaranteed all-round rest and peace, in Jesus’ name!
