How to Overcome the Fear of Singlehood-2

Welcome to the concluding part of this teaching, In the previous edition, we looked at the essence of singleness. This week, we will look deeper into,How to Overcome the Fear of Singlehood.
What are the ways to enjoy being single without fear?
Be Connected and Committed to your God. One of the ways to enjoy your single years is to be connected and committed to God because He is your creator and can never mismanage your life (John 15:5). God is the only source of true life and lasting glory. When the ship of your life and destiny is in God’s hands, it can never sink.
Develop a Superiority Complex. You must never allow the fear of standing alone rob you of maximising your single years. No matter the background you come from, if you are going to succeed in life, you must learn to stand to achieve your goals and fulfil the purpose God created you with or without a partner. You do not need to neglect yourself over someone else’s needs or ideas. At least for a while, being single will give you the maturity you need before you finally get engaged in a relationship.
Study God’s Word Regularly. Be committed to studying God’s Word; God’s Word is the manual for living. Therefore, you must become a Word addict through daily study (2 Timothy 2:15).
Therefore, the single years are designed by God to be a season of laying a solid foundation for a greater life of exploits, a foundation that will equip you for an enviable life. But in this fast-paced generation that we live in today, everyone seems to be in a hurry. The same has become true of many singles who often fail to see and enjoy the tremendous fun and benefits God has designed for this season of life.
Therefore, to maximise and live above the fear of singlehood, you need the knowledge of Christ, and this is only available to those who are born again. So if you are not born again, please say this prayer: Dear Lord, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Now, I know I am born again!
