Building a Glorious Home – 2

Dear Reader,

Welcome to the concluding part of this edition. I believe positive changes have been taking place in your home and life as an individual. In the first part of this teaching, we established that, among others, commitment is a pathway to enjoying a glorious home. This week, while we examine another relevant force required to enjoy a glorious home, which is Wisdom, we shall also be examining The Benefits of a Glorious Home.

The Word says: And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure (Isaiah 33:6). If you must build a glorious family, the principal instrument you need is wisdom. No wonder the Word says: Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established (Proverbs 24:3). Therefore, wisdom stabilises the home; it becomes tension free, and in the long run, you enjoy a glorious home. Also, a great marriage can be greater through wisdom and to avoid divorce and separation, wisdom is needful. Therefore, the wisdom from above is required to build a glorious home. The Scripture says: But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy (James 3:17). Everyone needs wisdom, whether you are married or not.

What are the Benefits of a Glorious Home?

It Leads to Personal and Career Success: When you build a glorious family, it is a sure base for you to enjoy personal and career success in life because marriage was designed to help you maximize life to the fullest.

It Enhances Longevity: A wise man humorously said, ‘If you marry a good wife, you will live happy and longer’. Therefore, a home established on God’s Word will lead to longevity.

It will lead to Church and Nation Building: The Church of Jesus Christ is made up of families. So when families enjoy stability, automatically, the church will enjoy stability. Also, every nation is made up of families; when the families enjoy stability, automatically, the nations enjoy stability.

However, the first step to enjoying a glorious home is salvation. If you are not born again, please say this prayer of faith: Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner, and I cannot help myself. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Precious Blood. Deliver me from sin and satan to serve the Living God. From today, Lord Jesus, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now, I am Born Again.
