TURN YOUR WEAKNESS TO STRENGTH (2)
Peace and blessings, in Jesus name! Humanly, it is seemingly impossible to turn weaknesses into strength with obvious reasons that no man is perfect. As a result, most people are left with the belief that they do not have to work on their imperfections to become a better version of themselves. However, God has given me the mandate to espouse how you can make your weaknesses become an advantage, rather than the initially presumed disadvantage. Today, I will be talking about ‘How to Turn Your Weaknesses to Strength.’ Therefore,I urge you to stay put to harness all that God has for you as it will impact your life positively, in Jesus name!
Why Should You Turn Your Weaknesses to Strength?
Today, the world is filled with lots of manipulators who would leverage your weaknesses to exploit and negatively present you. Most importantly, it is the will of God that you become a better version of yourself. Jesus says in Matthew 5:48, Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. This implies that you are under an obligation to live above your imperfections. God has created you in His image and after His own likeness. See what the Bible says about you in 2 Peter 2:9, But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. This is a clear picture of who you are in Christ.
How Do You Turn Your Weaknesses to Strength?
The following tips will help you turn your weakness into strength:
- Identify Your Weakness: A solution can only be found when a challenge is identified. Therefore, the first step of turning your weaknesses into strength is by identifying them. Have a personality check and make a list of them. You cannot let go of anything if you have not noticed you are holding on to it. Accept those weaknesses and do not make excuses for them because this will enable you strategise ways of overcoming them. An understanding of your weaknesses is a way forward to making it your strength. Admit them and see them transform into your greatest strengths.
- Discover and Focus on the Corresponding Strengths to Your Weaknesses: In every weakness, there is a corresponding strength to it. For instance, when one has laziness as a weakness, there is a corresponding strength called hard work. Your ability to focus on the corresponding strength to your weaknesses will enable you overcome them. When you focus on the right things, the wrong things will gradually face out. The Bible buttressed this fact in Philippians 4:8, Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
- Seek Help: No man is all-sufficient, and no man is an island. Therefore, you need help at all times. Seek counsel and advice from elders, Pastors or more experienced individuals who will help with valid advice and constant counselling about the area you constantly need help. More so, when you find someone who has strengths where you are weak, acknowledge them and ask them to help you. While helping you, you will be able to learn and improve on your weaknesses.
- Invite God into Your Life: God is your creator, and He knows much more than anyone on earth. The best and easiest way to turn your weaknesses into strength is by making and asking God to be your Lord and Personal Saviour first. God can turn your weakest point into a prevailing strength that will launch you into your God-given destiny. Therefore, do not underestimate what God can do; He changed Gideon, David and Moses to become great men. Your case will not be different, in Jesus name!
At redemption, all your weaknesses are perfected; they are turned to strength because the power of the Lord will come upon you. However, to have the power of the Lord come upon you, you must be born again. So, if you want to give your life to Christ, you can say this prayer of faith with me: Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me my sins and cleanse me with Your Blood. I accept You as my Lord and personal Saviour. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for delivering me from sin and Satan to serve the living God and thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.
Congratulations, you are now born again and a child of God. He loves you and will never leave you nor forsake you. With this, you are guaranteed all-round rest and peace, in Jesus name!
