Spirituality is the greatest asset you can gain as a single; you can deeply connect with God, know Him for yourself, discover who He is to you and establish a lasting relationship with Him. The Bible reiterated in 1 Corinthians 7:35, that your single days are the days of undivided attention and devotion to God and His work. Consequently, devote yourself to God by constantly reading, studying and worshipping God knowing that this is the most viable time you have for Him.

To be single does not mean you should be lonely. Loneliness leads to anxiety, nervousness, depression, anger and many other vices that is associate with it. Seek godly relationships and friendships whereby you share knowledge, understanding, counsel and grant each other companionship. Be kind, approachable, friendly and with the right disposition at all times; remember, no man is an island, when you chase people away from you, you may end up being miserable but this will not be your portion, in Jesus name! You cannot marry your enemy, but you will marry amongst your friends; so, if you do not make friends there is no way you can stay in marriage because friendship continues even in marriage.
Pursue Your Passion and Purpose
Your life should not be on pause because you are single; rather, this is the best opportunity to pursue your passion and purpose for life. Do you know marriage becomes easier when you and your partner know you are fulfilling purpose? It is interesting to know that when you are pursuing your purpose, it is easier for you to identify who to marry. You can easily find who to marry when you find your purpose and walk towards accomplishing them.
Invest in People and God’s Kingdom
The best kind of investment you have to make as a single is to invest in others and the Kingdom. You learn how to live married by learning how to live single. During your marriage days, you will be left with options where you will groom, nurture, encourage, and support your spouse and children to become the best they wish to become. However, if as a single you are unable to help someone accomplish their goals, see the needfulness to help someone, or help in Kingdom advancement endeavours then it may be hard to learn it in marriage. Therefore, as a single, invest in people and the Kingdom; this is the most viable kind of investment you can make for yourself.
The act of service is one of the best benefits you can give to others as a single. Rebekah, gave service and God blessed her with Isaac (Genesis 24). You might not necessarily get marriage proposal as a reward for service, but you find so much fulfilment and joy putting smiles on people’s faces. Show genuine concern about people’s needs and be willing to give in your quota. You will definitely get them in return in tremendous ways you never imagined them to come.

Appreciate all the good things around you, such as your skin colour, height, hair, friends, family, body shape and structure, and most importantly your health.
