WALKING IN GOD’S PLAN

WALKING IN GOD'S PLAN

Dear Reader,

I welcome you to another beautiful month; it shall be filled with great testimonies for you. To make the most out of life, you must first understand that Life is a journey and not a destination.  On this journey, you encounter different paths and you are confronted with the question of what to do at every stage in life. The decisions and choices you make at that moment can either make or mar your destiny; that is why, it is important that at every step of the way, you are in tune with God’s plan for your life.

We all know how important it is to make plans. As a popular quote says, he who does not plan, has planned to fail. To plan is to have a detailed proposal for doing something. God is a God of plan and purpose. He has a well lined up and detailed plan for everyone and everything He created.  You weren’t just created, you were created with a purpose in mind. You were created to count in Life.

Most times I hear young people talk excitedly about what they want to become and what they want out of life, while some others just merely exist, as they accept everything that comes their way. It is good to have plans; however, you must understand that whatever plans you have, God’s plan is the Ultimate. It adds meaning to your life.

The truth is: God knows the end from the beginning; he knows your yesterday, today and tomorrow.  He is the Omniscient; He knows what the future holds for you because he is the custodian of your future.  Isn’t that amazing?

Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that the plans He has for us is a good one, not to bring us harm, but peace. It is a plan to give you a future that is filled with hope.  No human can guarantee another of these great blessings.

You may ask yourself, how then do I know if I am in God’s plan? His word says in Jeremiah 1:5 that before you were formed in the belly He already knew you. Your future is secured with him.

Now to the big question how do I locate God’s plan for my life?

The following will serve as a guide:

  1. Ask Him: You cannot know God’s plan for your life if you don’t know Him. Knowing God means having a relationship with Him.  It is your relationship with God that guarantees your access to the answers concerning any matter you bring before Him. You inquire from God by communicating with Him in prayers. The Bible says: Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you (Matthew 7: 7).  When you ask Him in prayers believing, then He will show you His plan and purpose concerning you and lead you in the way to fulfilling same.
  2. Study His Word: The Bible is our manual for living. A manual according to the dictionary is a step-by step guide to a particular topic that also serves as a reference book. A manual detail what is given and what is required, explains how to put the presented information into practice and instructs on how to solve problem as they occur. This is exactly what the Bible stands for. The divine plan for your life is contained in the Word of God. Take time to study and meditate it if you must fulfill destiny.

Please understand that God will only unveil His Plans to His children, and for you to become His child, you must be born again. Truth is, you can be born again by just saying this prayer in faith: Dear Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I believe You died and rose again for my sake. Forgive me of my sins, take over my life, make me Your child and let Your peace reign over my life. Thank you for saving me.  Now I know I am born again!

Congratulations, you are now born again! I believe that you will begin to experience the reality of the price that Jesus paid for your sins at Calvary. All-round rest and peace are guaranteed you, in Jesus’ Name!  Call or write, and share your testimonies with me through contact@faithoyedepo.org, OR call 07026385437 and 08141320204.
