I want to congratulate you for making a wise choice to read this article and other godly materials for your edification. Whatever or wherever you are today is a product of the choices you made yesterday. Daily, you and I are confronted with choices that have to be made. We choose to prayer or not to pray, to give or to safe, what to wear, where to go, etc. These choices are endless, but the wisdom to choose right makes all the difference to you.
The power of right choice is what makes a world of difference between the rich and the poor, success and failure, peace and crisis, joy and sorrow, etc. However, making correct choices enhances your productivity and impact level. The choices you make are very powerful, because God honours them. It not only affects you, but it affects generations after you. Wisdom demands, therefore, that you be futuristic in your choices.
The following Biblical references will help you understand how important and powerful you choices are:
Ruth: She chose to stay with her mother-in-law, Naomi, after the death of her husband. She said, “Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: they people shall be my people and thy God my God” (Ruth 1:16). That choice brought her into the most enviable linage of Jesus Christ!
The Shunammite Woman: She chose to play host to Elisha and did that joyfully and consistently. She not only got the reward of being fruitful after many years, but her child was supernaturally restored from death (2 Kings 4:8-17).
The Woman with the Alabaster box of oil: She chose to worship Jesus by breaking an expensive perfume, which must have cost her a year’s earning, on His feet and as a result earned her place in the pages of Scripture. Jesus said that wherever the gospel is mentioned, her deeds will also be included (Mark 14:9).
Jesus Christ: Our perfect example chose to sacrifice His life on the cross for you and I and that is why we have the gift of salvation today (Hebrews 12:2).
I don’t know the pressure you are in right now, or the wrong decisions you must have made before, the good news is that there is always room for change and to make the right choice. Making the right choice might sometime come with challenges, but if you endure the pain and stand by the truth, its benefit will surely be evident tomorrow.
You must know that your mind is the seat of choice making. So, the state of your mind determines the quality of your choices, which invariably determines the quality of your life. So, your right choices begin from a regenerated mind.
However, what are some of the right choices we need to make?
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:2).
As you choose to make right choices I decree grace to follow through in the name of Jesus Christ! Whatever wrong choices you might have made in the past is washed off by the blood of Jesus Christ!
However, as earlier said, the beginning to a world of right choices starts with new birth. That is accepting Jesus as Lord and personal Saviour. If you have not made that choice or probably walked away from it, you should do that right away by saying this prayer in faith:
Dear Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I believe You died and rose again for my sake. Forgive me of my sins, take over my life, make me Your child and let Your peace reign over my life. Thank you for saving me. Now I know I am born again!
Congratulations, you are now born again! I believe that you will begin to experience the reality of the price that Jesus paid for your sins at Calvary.
