Dear Reader,
You will agree with me that its being an awesome month. I have had great encounters with God and I believe it’s the same with you also. If you have engaged the first step to gaining divine plan as discussed in the first part of this article, then God must have shown you “a part” of His plan for your life. However, it is not enough to know God’s plan for you, it’s much more profitable for you to walk in it.
I said a part because; God does not reveal all His plans at once. It comes in stages and the deeper you go with Him, the brighter and bigger He unveils His plans to you and the more understanding you get. His plans for us as contained in the Bible are far above what we ever thought or imagined (1 Corinthians 2:9), so it therefore cannot be unveiled at once. The Bible says:
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:9).
To know God’s great ways and thoughts for you per time, you must engage in continuous search and constant enquiries. No one has ever walked in divine plan without ending up great. Think of Abraham, Moses, Jacob, Paul etc., they all walked according to God’s plan for their lives and till tomorrow, we still talk about the greatness they achieved.
Previously, I have talked on how you need to get a vision if you must access divine plan. However, in addition to catching a vision, you can also get divine plan through revelation. While vision tells you what is ahead of you so you would have a bearing and focus, revelation gives you a detailed, step-by-step plan on how to get there. In other words, you take actions by revelation. Apostle Paul said:
And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain (Galatians 2:2).
One way you can get revelation concerning divine plan is through meditation. Engaging in revelation entails that you eat, chew and digest God’s Word till you draw out nutrient from it. The “nutrient” you get from God’s Word when you meditate is called “revelation” or “rhema”. Jesus, during His earthly ministry, was a lover of God’s Word and that was where He found His mission on the earth. The Bible says:
And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord (Luke 4:17-19).
When you invest time to study and brew on the Word, you will discover what is written concerning you. More so, there are always benefits to walking in divine plan. These benefits include, but are not limited to:
• Divine Strength: When you engage in what you are sent here on earth to do, you enjoy the strength of the Sender, God Himself (Judges 6:14).
• Divine Motion: When you follow God’s plan for your life, you enjoy supernatural speed. Note that where vision stops is where motion stops and where there is no motion, life loses relevance (Proverbs 4:18). Your path becomes clearer and brighter, thereby giving you speed when you are running with God’s vision for your life.
• Divine Provision: God always provides supernaturally for those walking in His plan. For instance, Elijah was supernaturally sustained in the midst of drought because He was walking in God’s plan (1Kings 17:2-16).
What an awesome God we have, Who has made provisions for us to walk gloriously and triumphantly on the earth. As you lay hold on God’s plan for your life and pursue it, I see you wave an eternal “good-bye” to poverty, and an eternal “welcome” to abundance.
You must understand that every believer has access to God’s plan, but you must stand on your watch in prayers of enquiry and intense scriptural search to receive it (Habakkuk 2:1-2). Remember, you can pray both in the Spirit and in your understanding, until you have a clear direction from God on what to do. May you receive divine plan and grace to walk in it today!
However, to qualify for this, you need to be born again. That means accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. If you have not done that or have probably walked away from Him at one time or the other, you should say this prayer in faith right away:
Dear Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I believe You died and rose again for my sake. Forgive me of my sins, take over my life, make me Your child and let Your peace reign over my life. Thank you for saving me. Now I know I am born again!
Congratulations, you are now born again! I believe that you will begin to experience the reality of the price that Jesus paid for your sins at Calvary. All-round rest and peace are guaranteed you, in Jesus’ Name! Call or write, and share your testimonies with me through contact@faithoyedepo.org, OR call 07026385437 and 08141320204.
