You are most welcome to this wonderful month. It is my earnest desire that you will get the best of all God has purposed for you this month. In this edition, we shall be exploring, the Beauty of Teenage hood.
Everything on earth is designed to function according to times and season. As the Bible says, to everything there is a season. (Ecclesiastes 3:1). This clearly means that life is in phases, and as long as the earth remains, different seasons of life shall continually be in force.
Now, that you are a teenager, remember that you cannot be one forever; it can only be for the present! So, you must be mindful of what you do with your present as a teenager, because that will ultimately determine what you will become or experience in your future.
To be a teenager is to be whole, outstanding, unique, separate and positively different! God is interested in your wholeness. To be whole, you must discover who you are in the content of God’s Word. You must act on your discoveries from the Word.
Teenage years are fun years and you must learn to make the most of it. Rather than wishing, desiring and devising means to get out of your teen age, you can productively engage this season to deliver all that it holds for you before it’s over. There are many benefits that you can derive from this age and they include but are not exclusive to:
It is a Great Opportunity to Draw Near To God
The benefit of the teen’s years cut across the three dimensions of your life – spirit, soul and body. It takes an effective harnessing of these three dimensions to enjoy maximally the benefits of the teenage years.
Your teenage years are the most effective time to be actively engaged in the pursuit and service of your Creator
The truth is, your relationship with God will reflect in your relationship with man. Do not just be a Christian who goes to church only on Sundays. Be not deceived, what you sow determines what you reap (Galatians 6:7).
It Is the Prime Time of Life
Another cardinal benefit of the teenager years is that it is the prime time of life. I strongly believe that it is in recognition of this that the Bible says in (1Timothy 4:12) says
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
Unusual strength is one of the characteristics of this prime time of life. Your strength seems to be at the peak. You become very adventurous. This explains why youth and teenagers are known for unusual strength.
It is the best time for self-discovery, as well as your mission on the earth. It is the time to find out where you actually belong in life.
Mobility is another benefit of teenager years. There is movement not only of the physical body, but also the mobility of time, money and decision.
Financially, you enjoy cost effectiveness because lesser money is spent since you are the only one involved. It is the best time to learn and practise the principles for effective money handling. Develop the required strategies to make money your servant, not your master.
However, for you to enjoy the beauty and benefits of a teenager, you need to be in good relationship with God. If you have not done this before, or may have strayed from your decision to make Jesus the only Lord over your life, then you must say this prayer in faith:
Dear Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I believe You died and rose again for my sake. Forgive me of my sins, take over my life, make me Your child and let Your peace reign over my life. Thank you for saving me. Now I know I am born again!
Congratulations, you are now born again! I believe that you will begin to experience the reality of the price that Jesus paid for your sins at Calvary. All-round rest and peace are guaranteed you, in Jesus’ Name! Call or write, and share your testimonies with me through email@example.com, OR call 07026385437 and 08141320204.
