Dear Reader,

It is with joy I write to you on this sensitive subject Great is His Faithfulness. I pray it will cause you to think deeply about the faithfulness of God rather than count the things that seem not to be working in your life. I will love you to get glued to this piece as I further buttress this subject.

This I recall to my mind; therefore, have I hope.  It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness (Lamentations 3:21-23).

If you check around your life, career, ministry, marriage, name it, has the Lord been good to you? David wrote in Psalm 103 all the good things one could think of God has done for us. Often we get carried away by what we do not have at the expense of the uncountable goodness of God in our lives.  Although when faced with life circumstances it is not easy for us to trust God totally to help us through, however the Bible challenges us not to only bless the Lord, but to keep all His benefits in the forefront of our minds thanking and believing Him to help us through those challenges with the assurance that he would help us through as he has done always. He urges us not to forget all his benefits but recount them continuously; this is somewhat of a recurring theme in the Psalms and throughout the Scriptures as a whole. Psalm 105:5 reminds us that we should always, remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth. God is too faithful to fail and great is His faithfulness.

Nevertheless, the act of worship urges us to look back, recall, and remember all the great works the Lord has done and the ones He is yet to do. A clear example of the Israelites who murmured and complained, In fact regretting why God brought them out from Egypt to suffer and die, they preferred to have stayed over at Egypt under the chains of captivity even when God had decided to liberate and set them free. They were blinded with the circumstances without acknowledging God and His ability to make a way for them as long as He was able to set plagues against the Egyptians even with the last event in Egypt where God executed all the firstborn of Egypt at a glimpse, if He could do that would He not part the red sea for them to pass through? Likewise, in our personal walk with God, there are circumstances that come our way that causes us to murmur, complain and curse God; telling Him how unfaithful He had become but we are forgetful of His blessings. If He has been able to sustain the breath in our nostrils, He also is not incapacitated to settle any issue of concern for us. The Lord is a great God and He is always too faithful to fail. There is no variableness of turning with him James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

If you can understand that God has done much more than we can see, we will have reasons to thank Him ahead for those things we expect from Him. If our eyes are opened to see the hidden battles He fights on our behalf, the sicknesses He wages off us, the arrows He pulls off our direction on a daily basis, He silences the accusations the devil and his cohorts are laying against our lives and family. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). Let us make it a duty to give God thanks at all times because everything works together for our good to bring glory to the name of God. Hand over your worries to God and put up a bright countenance as Hannah did, And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad (1 Samuel 1:18).

Eternal peace and joy comes from God, He alone can, and joy is the only tool to draw water out of the well of salvation (Isaiah 12:3), if you are yet to accept Jesus as your Lord and Personal Saviour this is the opportunity for you to, just say this simple prayer of faith:

Father, I realise that I have been a sinner. Today I believe you died and rose on the third day redeeming me from all my sins. Now I accept you Lord, save me and accept me as your child, write my name in the book of life Thank You, Father, for saving me in Jesus’ Name.

Congratulations You are now a child of God and have experienced salvation in Jesus’ Name Amen. You can call or write and share your testimonies with me via or 07026385437 and 08141320204.
